About IPS
GlaxoSmithKline sought to develop a solution for training medical professionals in handling a critical surgery case. DigiTrends developed an interactive PC-based ER environment, a state-of-the-art on-screen simulation tool designed to instruct aspiring doctors in a critical surgery scenario. The project aimed to bridge the gap between clinical decision-making and theoretical learning by providing medical professionals with a safe yet realistic practice environment.

The Solution
How We Addressed the Problem
To address these challenges, DigiTrends developed a custom ER simulation of a medical scenario that transformed the way healthcare professionals were trained and educated.
Realistic Virtual Simulation:
DigiTrends created a simulator powered by a PC that allowed doctors to engage with virtual patients and make important treatment decisions in real time by simulating actual ER situations.
Interactive Learning Experience:
The interactive simulator combined medical data, case-based scenarios, and instant feedback to provide immersive training that felt like a genuine ER experience, without any real-world risks involved.
Versatile Training Platform:
This was created with the help of senior physicians and resident doctors, ensuring medical safety, which helped in assisting GSK's training programs and gave physicians hands-on experience.
